What I treat

These are the areas I work in. I see patients in Palma and Manacor, and operate in Palma. My two main areas are prostate surgery and kidney stones.

Prostate (BPH)

Why an enlarged prostate makes it harder to pass urine, when surgery is considered, and the four techniques I perform: HoLEP, green laser, Rezum and TURP.

Kidney stones

Shockwave lithotripsy, laser surgery through the urinary tract and percutaneous surgery. And tests to find out why your stones form, to prevent further ones.

Check-ups and prevention

A check-up combines an examination, blood tests and a look at your symptoms.

You don’t need to have a problem to come. The point of a check-up is to pick up early what is not yet causing symptoms, and that is when finding it makes most difference to the outlook.

  • Prostate, kidney and bladder cancer. In the early stages they cause no pain or discomfort.
  • Urinary symptoms you have got used to. Getting up several times at night or having a weak stream is not just age: it can be treated.
  • Recurrent stones. Finding out why they form makes it possible to prevent the next ones.
  • Follow-up of conditions already diagnosed, so that treatment can be adjusted before complications appear.

Other procedures

I also perform diagnostic cystoscopy, laparoscopic (keyhole) urological surgery for other conditions and the repair of some blockages of the urinary tract.

If you have a urinary problem and are not sure what is causing it, book an appointment and we will look into it together.
