About health data
Please do not include detailed clinical information in the form. It is a general contact channel, not a channel for medical care, and it is not a secure way to send medical records.
If you still choose to include information about your health, it will be treated in the strictest confidence, protected by medical professional secrecy, and used only to reply to you.
Sending the form does not start a doctor–patient relationship and does not guarantee a reply within any particular time. Do not use this channel for emergencies: in an emergency, call 112.
If you are writing on behalf of someone else
If you provide another person’s data when you contact us (for example, if you are writing about a relative), you guarantee that you have their permission to do so and that you have told them about the content of this policy.
Please take particular care in this case: do not provide information about another person’s health without their knowledge and consent.
Accuracy of your data
The data you give us must be true and up to date. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for letting us know of any changes.
How long we keep your data
Data from the form are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and then for the limitation period of any liability that may arise from the contact. After that period, they are deleted.
If your enquiry leads to actual medical care, the clinical data will become part of your medical record and will be kept in accordance with Spanish Law 41/2002 on patient autonomy and the applicable regional regulations.
Who we share your data with
We do not pass your data on to third parties, and we do not make automated decisions or carry out profiling.
The only parties with technical access to the information are the providers needed to run the website, acting as data processors:
- Hosting and email provider: IONOS (1&1 IONOS España, S.L.U.), with servers located in the European Union.
No data are transferred outside the European Economic Area.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability at any time, and you can withdraw any consent you have given.
To do so, write to info@urologodrbauza.com stating which right you wish to exercise and enclosing a copy of a document that proves your identity.
If you believe your data are not being handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD): www.aepd.es.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). However, no system is infallible, so please do not send sensitive clinical information this way.
Minors
This website is not aimed at children under 14. If you are under 14, do not send your data through the form without the permission of your parents or guardians.
Website usage statistics
To find out which content is useful, this website counts visits with a statistics tool hosted on our own server, which does not use cookies, does not store personal data and does not identify visitors, and does not share information with third parties. Only aggregate counts are kept (for example, how many times a page has been viewed). You can find the details in the cookie policy.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the law or the way the website works changes. The version in force will always be the one published on this page.
