About me

I’m José Luis Bauzá Quetglas, a urologist seeing patients in Palma de Mallorca and Manacor.
My work focuses on two areas:
- Benign prostatic hyperplasia (an enlarged prostate), including holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP).
- Kidney and ureteric stones: shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL) and laser retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS).
I also see patients for general urology, andrology and urological cancer.
I look after every patient myself, from the first appointment to the follow-up after surgery.

My approach
The right technique for your case
Not every prostate needs the same operation, and not every stone the same approach. I choose the technique to suit your case, not because it is the newest one available.
Time to explain
I explain the diagnosis, the options and what you can expect from each one, until everything is clear to you.
An honest recommendation
If you don’t need surgery, I will tell you. An operation is not always the best option.
Where I see patients
Appointments and surgery at Hospital Quirónsalud Palmaplanas (Palma), and appointments at Més Consultes Mèdiques (Manacor).
